This red latex rear replacement squeegee is perhaps the most integral piece of the recovery process on the CleanFreak® Reliable 14 line of auto scrubbers, as it ultimately prevents streaking. We recommend wiping both squeegee blades, and the squeegee recovery channel, clean after each use to remove any debris and chemicals that could potentially sit on the squeegee surface and warp it.
When properly maintained in conjunction with the front squeegee blade, you will recover as close to 100% of your cleaning solution that has been laid down. If these squeegee blades are properly maintained, or changed/rotated often, the floor will be dry to the touch as soon as the squeegee recovery system passes over the floor.
Each squeegee blade (front & rear) can be used on all four sides for recovery of dirty solutions. You can use the front side of the squeegee, then rotate, so the back side is facing forward. Then, you can flip it upside down, and use both of those surfaces. No tools are required to switch your blades, which make it extremely easy, allowing you to do it fairly frequently. We recommend rotating your squeegees every 20 hours of scrubbing, so they wear evenly maximize their life expectancy.
