Rotary Floor Buffer Melamine Floor Cleaning Pads (17" & 20" Sizes)
These melamine floor cleaning pads are made with open-cell polymetric foam and are specially designed to be used on tile, shallow grout, and other problematic areas where removing soil has become a challenge. They should be used wet and saturated with lots of water and/or solution to clean and remove black marks on floors while not harming your floor finish. These pads are made to be used with standard speed machines (up to 350 rpm) and are made to clean ceramic and porcelain tile, VCT, epoxy, concrete, terrazzo, synthetic wood flooring, stone, luxury tile and rubber floors.
Each case contains 5 melamine pads that clean by using friction and that is why they need to be extremely saturated as the moisture is needed to reduce drag. If properly saturated, this pad will not remove finish or micro-abrade the floor. You can expect to get up to 5,000 ft² of use out of each pad when used on a smooth floor. Uneven surfaces will reduce the life span.
While the melamine pads are effective without the use of cleaners, we recommend the use of a low pH cleaner like our Bright Solutions® 'Reflection' neutral floor cleaner. We also offer these pads in a rectangular configuration for oscillating equipment.
