Tornado® Wet & Dry Single External Filter Vacuum - Air Powered
This jumbo vacuum comes packaged complete with a 55 gallon drum, powerhead, filter, support rod, and dolly for easy movement around the shop or industrial manufacturing plant. The single external filter can recover both wet & dry materials without having to switch filters. This eliminates the need for your employees to choose the correct filter depending on the matter they are recovering. Never again will you ruin a filter, or even worse, a vacuum by recovering a liquid with a solids filter.
The Tornado wet & dry recovery single external filter vacuum is powered by compressed air, but we do have other models available, including electric powered vacuums in our jumbo industrial external filter vacuums category. These vacuum create waterlift substantially beyond that found in traditional wet recovery vacuums with dry pick-up. These jumbo units are designed for industrial applications requiring extremely aggressive pick-up power. These machines' roles are primarily for rapid high-volume recovery of wet and dry debris including water, cutting oil, machine oil, solvent and powder.
A minimum 15-HP air compressor system is required that can maintain 30 to 60 psi at the vacuum gauge (with the vacuum valve open) for light wet/dry recovery and 60 psi to 100 psi for maximum pick-up power for materials such as heavy liquids, slurries, sludge, and heavy debris.
